=( I don’t blame ya for quiting, just will miss ya. I was very happy you came over to Caitsith and have been one of the most dedicated members in both Dynamis and Limbus that I have known. You were always prepared as any job ya came on and I know I as well as many others will miss you. Be sure to keep an EM pearl so if you ever do decide to come back you will have a home.

Hopefully you will have fun with other things you may do and I will keep checking your blog as I think you are a very talented photographer and always enjoy looking at your pictures. Hopefully you will see this as I don’t think I will see you on the game. Take care of yourself Pyra and you know my email so you are welcome to send me PMs or emails anytime you want. He played the race card. He was just subtle about it.

Acceptance speech on the 45th anniversary of ‘I have a dream’. He then let the press spin it.

I’m going to assume you get different news channels than I do.

Everyone celebrating is black. Everyone on TV cheering for Obama, is black.

Race was a HUGE issue because the people and the media made it one (and Obama just strongly hinted and let others pick it all up). Look at Marrion Barry, who keeps winning the election in DC, because he is black. Even the Obama is a monkey images. When its Bush, it is 1st amendment, when it is Obama, OMG racist!

Where I’m from, the Democrats control everything. I’m so sick of Democrats. VA just elected to the senate a guy who raised taxes as governor when the state had a $5B surplus, because he just wanted to raise taxes.

Obama never used the race card himself. Others may have. And yes this is a historic election , (either way) for obvious reasons. Obama is black. Palin ia a women. Either way it would have been historic.
I think Obama was elected, not really for race but more about people were really tired of Republicans for 8 years. If you look at each state individually and the house and all that, you can see that this year mostly democrats won. Even seats that were held by Republicans for years were taken by democrats. And I think the N-word is a little harsh.

I still say that until he starts enacting his policies you should reserve judgement, the majority of Democrats right now are moderate Democrats, so not every law Obama tries to pass will happen, maybe half or so at best.

Hardly bitter. Disappointed, yes.

At his victory party in Chicago, the controversial figure — remember him — Rev. Wright gave the invocation. Which showed that Obama had not cut off ties with the radical, racist, America-hating minister as he had claimed.

Its also a case of two very important things.

1) I’ve been told by everyone how ‘upset’ I should be at myself for 8 years because the person I elected twice is horrible, and I am a terrible person for enjoying that my party won. I think that Bush is a fantastic president, people just can’t appreciate what he has done yet. Either way, if you can’t take it, don’t dish it out. That is also why I used the word ‘regime’.
A president, picked by the media, payed for by overseas donations (all under $200, so they do not have to be reported). Sounds like a lot of the same fraud that got JFK elected in 1960 (massive fraud in Chicago).

2) My Bully Pulpit.

Obama is just frightening. And I do not mean his radical ties, or race, or anything like that. His policies would be terrible for the country — or so I believe. Biden would have been a better candidate, someone I could have felt good about in office. Instead we have someone who has yet to actually say anything, or take a stance, ever. I always picture Obama as a whiney little kid going up to his parents “but I wanna be president”, then pouts.

The “Not My President” is because for 8 years I’ve had to endure listening to people say Bush isn’t their president, and how that was the ‘mature’ thing to believe.

You can’t be serious right? I mean I understand that you are bitter that your candidate lost, but too say such nasty things about someone who was elected by your country folk is just wrong. I mean he hasn’t even done anything yet, can you please wait to say he is the worst president ever until after he has done something, he hasn’t even been president yet, he is just the president elect. Well the only way to learn is to do it and I would hope that the people ya went with understand that you are new to it. It reminds me of my first time in Sky. The shell I was with was trying to pop Steam Cleaner and I kept killing the little orb that possibly pops Steam Cleaner. I felt so stupid but at the same time they never explained it to me.

I am sure on your next Raid you will do much better and I hope they give ya another chance.

I dislike Obama (I like Biden much better than Obama), and do like McCain, but that is not the point of this.

The point of all this is to poke fun at the whole process, get a few good laughs, and mostly, to take out some of the frustration I have with the whole process. It doesn’t help that I have democrats calling me and leaving flyers on my door 2-3 times per week either.

Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to teach someone something in the end.

Also, absolutely nothing is sacred. I will mock everything I can, and as fast as I can (because I’m running out of time).

Yay! But this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Vice presidents are getting announced tomorrow, and its already stirring up some controversy. Stay tuned! Its like a soap opera, except whoever wins, we lose! And our taxes will probably be higher.

Any system will create high level noobs who just do the minimum to get to the top. It is still not a good reason to punish everyone else in the effort to prevent the unpreventable.

I freely admit I’m a high level WoW noob, but I like to think I’m learning how to be less nooby fairly quickly. But only so much you can do in 2 months.

Well… I kind of enjoy a variety of leveling up. You’re right, it does create n00bs, high lv n00bs, which is exactly what WoW created, people all solo exp quest instead of grinding in instances. But pretty sure we all like choices from time to time! It’s kind of tiring to grind so… I kinda don’t want to level anything for that reason lawl

Well yeah. I regret making this post now, but what’s done is done.

Really did not expect it to blow up like that.

I never minded the off-topic posts (obviously, as I was responsible for quite a few myself). My favorite post on this site is an off-topic one. ( http://blogs.sphericality.org/pyra/2008/07/07/a-day-away-from-it-all/ )

I’m going to let this drop here. I’m still willing to change some tagging to make the TTTO indexer handle the FFXI vs non-FFXI issue.

Either way, I’ll probably close the comments on this post tomorrow morning. Leaving them open won’t help anyone.
