Wow, that shell sounds like ass, real crooked. Seems a lot like they have their own agenda for themselves and their friends. Stay another week or so to check it out, but id start looking at your other options now, i wouldnt want to be in a shell like that...

Its mostly b/c people don't show up. I've stopped trying to be on time for anything. I've also just started leaving when I got started to get sleepy and going to watch TV instead of playing.

I don't know what the guy who got the osode has done for the shell in the past, but by their own rules, he shouldn't have gotten it.

http://judgment-ls.com/sky/viewmember.php?name=Ossie

You can see he only showed up to 1 day of farming that wasn't a god killing run (7/15 shows both gods and other NMs) in the past 2 months. The DKP tracker goes back to March of this year, but he suddenly has 400 points at the end of June, and nothing before that. Presumably its carry over from something else, but cannot say for sure from where. Even the guy who got haidate last night I had never seen before and he only shows up to god killing (mostly).

Only problem w/ this all is that I can't see it being much better elsewhere. I assumed that some favoritism existed, but its really at a level beyond what I'd seen before.

I'm going to stick w/ what Mischa said, give it another week. If its the same old BS, chuck the pearl.

Wow the events start 2 hrs late? Thats pretty crazy, why do they wait 2 hrs? Is it cause people just don't bother gathering?

I dunno, that shell sounds a little selfish to me with alot of things. Bumping a MNK for a DRG and DRK sounds rediculous to me as MNKs are one of the best jobs for that. I agree if it made the run smoother then yea some bumping is a good idea but when someone is bumped that make a positive impact to make a harder run with the people they were replaced with it makes me wonder.

As for the sky stuff, they gave an osode to someone that already had an osode (to sell I bet)? That is BS if you ask me and all I see going on is the leaders only caring about themselves and the inner circle. Too many HNMLS are like this and it always ends the same.

What items are you looking to get from the ZNM mobs? You could probably just low man those and just get some help from friends. I plan on helping Lushie get that SMN headpiece (once we re-install the expansion on the 360s and the PS3).

If they are T1 they shouldn't be too bad (of course I have not checked out much on ZNMs). Man I hate seeing people use the shell they create only to benefit themselves and people they consider friends yet use everyone else as bodies and not reward them at all. This is what I call a very bad leader. A good leader is someone that plans things for everyone that is in that shell and don't just do things to get better gear for themselves.

If I had more energy and will to play the game more I would probably start doing little things like ZNMs, Sky stuff and sea stuff but as it is right now I only get on for events. Maybe in the distant future I will play more and if I can I will try and do some stuff like that. If I am able to help you, just ask and I can see what I can do. I hate seeing you get burned like this and being in that shell just opens my eyes again to the BS that goes on in endgame.

I know, some of the rules are really odd.

Like for salvage, getting bumped sucks, but I would understand if it was needed to make the run go smoother every so often.

But I've seen some people get bumped a lot. And not just a random DD either, a monk was left on the sidelines, but a dragoon and dark knight (who are friends with the leadership) went. I haven't myself been bumped, but the runs are random and very unpredictable, so I don't make some of them b/c I don't know when they are.

When someone is bumped, they are given credit for attending, but really, if you rarely get to go its not worth your time. Especially since most of the runs are designed to get the older members their stuff, and if newer people get much of anything, its more of an accident, or so it feels.

Then there is sky. The ls has an attendance percent policy. Last week, an osode fell and went to someone who had an osode already (but not from the shell), and who also was never actually in sky farming pops. But he was a friend of the leader.

I talked to one of the sub-leaders last night about what I heard on the no more T1's. He believed I heard it wrong, and it was only no more T1's for this week on the Tinnin path because we want to try to pop him this week. If that's the case, I understand. Appearantly, the one RDM leader had spent a lot of time that week soloing the T1's (around 10 pops, and there were only a handful of people farming zeni, but I was one of them and had no idea they were popping anything). Of course, no one I talked to knew he was doing this, or even when (it could have been 4am local my time, in which case I was definitely sleeping).

The other thing that has been driving me nuts lately is that nothing starts on time. Most events are scheduled for 7pm PST (10pm local for me), but rarely does anything start before 11pm local, and most of the time, its 11:30 or later. For einherjar runs, this works well for me, since dynamis usually lets out around 11:30, so the 2 hour late start works fantastic (also nikitta, lyco, and elliam are in both dynamis and einherjar shells too).

Wow sounds like the shell is a tad odd. I have always hated shells that look out for friends and leaders only as other members have to suffer. If they refuse to do things for members that are not leaders or friends I would get out ASAP.

Bleh this just brings back memories of HNMLS days. Hopefully you will find another shell that will work out better for ya.

Well it has been two weeks. Give it a week.. see how it goes... If they still refuse to do your T1 pops, wtf would you stay there for. No reason. Whether anyone likes to admit it or not, If you join a shell, you plan on getting something out of it. End of Story. Of course you're not a greedy bastard and you'd like to help others but whats the point if they wont do the same for you... And forgetting to register points for an upcoming event is inexcusable. Another reason LSs fall apart.
