136 people when you combine both friend’s lists. 46 still playing, 2 in jail, 1 was hacked. 87 no longer play. I noticed that Ata’s list has a much greater percentage of people who no longer play, over half of Pyra’s list are still players. I guess this is one of the curses of playing something for this long, so many good friends are bound to just go away.
I delete people off my FL when they leave or i haven’t heard from them in about a year ^^: stops the depressive reflection moments!

Yeah, I should too. I guess with a lot of them, I keep hoping they would come back. Some of my best times in the game are with some of those who quit. But some of my fondest memories are also from when I was a noob discovering things for the first time, which is probably part of the reason there are so many on the list who have been gone for so long.
But it was a rainy, depressing day, the post felt like it fit.

Well, some of these people I’m glad quit, as they later turned out to be complete asshats. Cross would be one of them, and I though (and hoped) that he had quit. Real loot whore, and if he wants, he will whine until he gets, will even go so far as to screw a friend out of a dynamis – bastok drop (by not passing – it was SAM, cross’s sam was in the early 50’s, and his former friend’s was in the late 60’s at the time).
Keirra (the mithra whm, not the one from AI) had quit for around 2 years. I saw her come back once or twice.
Nahla is the same. He disappeared in late-2006. I saw him once or twice in 2007, but that was it. Didn’t think he came back full time. I’ve known Nahla almost as long as I’ve been playing.

Hey Pyra… I use to be in sanctum awhile ago with daddyx and ygraine and i was also friends with virmythrax… man i envy u guys for still playing…. coincidentally i just googled some final fantasy stuff and poof i ended up here. But yeah i stopped playing because well can’t afford it anymore. But if u get a chance…must say hello to dx and yggy for me… if they dont recall the name just mention TTF.. TED THE FARMER…lol man they were weird.
